Top 100 Recruit Locks in Official Visit to Clemson

Clemson’s big official visit weekend is still a few months out, but one top offensive line target has already locked in the date.

4-star Chancellor Barclay (First Academy, Orlando, FL) will be at the event that will run from May 30 to June 1. Barclay tells The Clemson Insider that he also plans to attend the Elite Retreat on March 8.

Florida, Georgia and Oklahoma will also get officials.

  • Oklahoma June 20-22

The 6-foot-4, 295-pound prospect picked up an offer from the Tigers in June after working out at a session of Dabo Swinney’s high school camp.

“Definitely the culture,” Barclay told The Clemson Insider in a previous interview. “I’ve heard so many things about it, but I hadn’t actually seen it. It’s different when it comes to culture. I of course, got to experience Death Valley, the hill, it was amazing. The culture, it’s just – everything’s so different. It’s different to a point that culture is like the main thing there. That’s why coach Dabo Swinney is so respected. People see it, just through what he’s built at Clemson.”

The class of 2026 recruit included Clemson in his top group recently, along with Alabama, Penn State, Miami, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Florida, Florida State, Georgia and Texas A&M.

Barclay last visited for the Tigers’ loss to Louisville in November.
