Another Elite-Level Recruiting Target Locks in Official Visit to Clemson

Another elite-level offensive line target has locked in plans to attend Clemson’s big official visit weekend.

4-star Darius Gray (St. Christopher’s, Richmond, VA) has announced that he plans to attend the event scheduled for May 30 to June 1. Gray is the second offensive line target to announce plans to be at the event, joining 4-star Chancellor Barclay, who announced his intentions on Monday.

The 6-foot-3, 285-pounder also plans to take officials to Tennessee, LSU, Penn State and South Carolina.

Official Visit Schedule

  • Clemson May 30-June 1
  • Tennessee June 7-9
  • LSU June 14-16
  • Penn State June 17-19
  • South Carolina June 21-23

Gray last visited Clemson last spring. His busy high school schedule made it hard to get back to campus for a gameday visit. The blue-chip talent recently told TCI that he had every intention of getting back at some point after the beginning of the year, but with his basketball schedule, it might not be until the spring.

Despite not having visited in several months, there is a lot about Clemson that intrigues Gray. One of the biggest things is offensive line coach Matt Luke.

“I knew the very first time I went there,” Gray told The Clemson Insider. “Coach Luke is a big part of that. He’s always a joy to be around. Potentially being around a guy like that for the next four years.”

Gray is a consensus Top 100 talent in the 2026 recruiting class. On3 ranks the 6-foot-3, 285-pound prospect No. 25 overall and No. 4 among all interior linemen.
