Clemson Makes Another Move Up NET Rankings

CLEMSON — With No. 23 Clemson’s 85-65 throttling of North Carolina on Monday night, the Tigers moved up another three spots to No. 27 in the NET Rankings.

The victory now makes Clemson 6-2 against Quad 2 competition.

Brad Brownell’s team has moved up a combined six spots after wins over Duke and North Carolina.

“A great win for us,” Brownell said. “Proud of the way our guys bounced back the last two games. We have played very well.”

Clemson will now head to Tallahassee for a Saturday matchup against Florida State. The Seminoles are currently No. 87, meaning this will be another Quad 2 contest. If Florida State were to somehow climb into the Top 75 of the NET at some point, it would then become a Quad 1 game.
