Clemson has lost a key member of its pitching staff to a season-ending injury.
Freshman Dane Moehler has announced that he has suffered a torn UCL and will undergo surgery to repair it. He expects to be back next season.
The right-hander, who was expected to be a member of the weekend rotation, was injured in his final intrasquad scrimmage before the start of the season.
After suffering a torn ucl in my last outing I’ve decided to undergo surgery next week to be back on the mound next season.
