The guest list for Clemson’s big official visit weekend keeps growing.
Four-star safety Joey O’Brien has announced plans to attend the big event scheduled for May 30 to June 1. O’Brien picked up his offer from the Tigers earlier this month after an unofficial visit just before the beginning of the dead period.
Penn State, Oregon, Tennessee, Ohio State and Notre Dame will also receive official visits.
The 6-foot-4, 185-pound defensive back is ranked as the No. 1 prospect in the state of Pennsylvania by 247Sports, which touts him as the No. 50 overall prospect in the country regardless of position for the 2026 class.
As a junior defensive back/wide receiver in 2024, O’Brien tallied 36 tackles, 13 pass breakups and an interception on the defensive side of the ball, to go with 68 catches, 1,029 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns. He also passed for a score.
