One of the top running backs in the 2027 recruiting class will visit Clemson next month.
Four-star back Andrew Beard (Prince Avenue Christian, Bogart, GA) will attend the Clemson spring game on April 5. It is one of several stops the blue-chip back plans to make.
Spring Visit Schedule
- Duke: March 22
- Oklahoma: March 27
- Tennessee: March 31
- Clemson: April 5
- Penn State: April 8
- Georgia Tech: April 11
- Georgia: April 12
- Florida State: April 19
The 5-foot-9, 185-pound back visited for the Tigers’ win over Virginia back in October.
Beard is quickly approaching the 20-offer mark, with Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Penn State and Tennessee all having pulled the trigger already.
His father was a running back at App State from 2000-02 and his uncle is Garrison Hearst, a running back who starred at Georgia in the early 1990s.
As a sophomore, Beard totaled 2,886 all-purpose yards. Rivals ranks him No. 185 overall and No. 3 among the all-purpose backs in the 2027 class.
