Highly-Touted LB, Brother of Former 5-Star, Set to Visit Clemson

One of the top linebackers in the 2027 recruiting class will visit Clemson this weekend.

Four-star Max Brown (Jefferson, GA) will return to campus on Saturday. Brown is the younger brother of current Clemson linebacker, and former five-star recruit, Sammy Brown.

The 6-foot-1, 215-pound recruit has visited Clemson multiple times in the past, including a game-day visit last season.

“Clemson is incomparable,” Brown told TCI in a previous interview. “It’s just everything that you’re looking for in a college. Amazing coaches, amazing culture, amazing players, amazing fans, amazing atmosphere. Just an ideal college for where someone like me would want to go. And 40 minutes down the road. So it’s not like I’m having to travel long a way and I can come home whenever.”

Brown already sports offers from Ohio State, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisville and Auburn to name a few. When the Tigers start handing out offers to 2027 recruits this summer, Brown very well might add one from Clemson at that time.

Rivals ranks Brown No. 49 overall and No. 2 among all linebackers in the class.
