The Clemson Insider wanted to pass along a couple of injury updates.
We noticed prior to Monday’s practice that Clemson starting left tackle Tristan Leigh was on a scooter and his left leg was heavily wrapped.
Prior to spring break, Leigh was in a yellow jersey, which means a player cannot participate in practice. But prior to spring break, Leigh was able to participate in all of Clemson’s pre-practice exercises, as well as run during practice.
Also, we noticed that redshirt sophomore running back Jarvis Green was wearing a boot on his right foot and wasn’t participating in Monday’s practice. That is a new injury as well.
TCI will provide further injury updates on Leigh and Green when more information becomes available.
A former five-star recruit who assumed a starting role in 2023, Leigh enters the 2025 season having played 1,587 offensive snaps over 32 career games (23 starts) from 2021-24. Last season, he logged 761 offensive snaps, seventh-most on the team, and started all 12 games in which he appeared.
Green enters the upcoming season credited with 12 carries for 57 yards, two receptions for 35 yards and a touchdown in 37 career offensive snaps over 11 games. His first career reception came in the College Football Playoff game at Texas last season, and his first career touchdown came on a 25-yard catch later in that contest.
