The end is nearing for one Clemson recruiting target.
Four-star offensive lineman Leo Delaney is set to announce a commitment on July 11. He will choose between four finalists consisting of Clemson, Tennessee, Penn State and Michigan. Each of the four schools will get an official visit.
Delaney has long been locked in for the Tigers’ big official visit weekend from May 30 to June 2.
The 6-foot-6, 320-pound blue-chip talent visited Clemson twice during the spring, including for the Elite Retreat in March.
“The environment was insane,” Delaney told The Clemson Insider after the Elite Retreat. “Everything coach Swinney talked about felt so real, and it seemed like a place I know I’d be developed as a man and player, and most importantly, love being at. Coach Swinney talked a lot about his plan, how nothing is falling off, and how he believes in all of us and will be committed to us if we go there.”
247 ranks him No. 63 overall and No. 5 among all interior linemen.
