Four-Star DE Target Names Finalists

A priority Clemson target has trimmed his list down to six finalists.

Four-star DE Dre Quinn (Greater Atlanta Christian School) named his finalists on Tuesday with Clemson, Georgia, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Georgia Tech and Texas all making the cut.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pound edge rusher visited Clemson last fall for the Tigers matchup against Louisville. Two days later, he announced an offer from the Tigers. Defensive ends coach Chris Rumph paid him multiple visits during the contact period earlier this year, with head coach Dabo Swinney accompanying Rumph on one of those visits. Quinn then returned to Clemson for the Elite Retreat in March.

“I like the culture there,” Quinn previously told The Clemson Insider. “It’s a place where I know I could grow. Everybody is tight-knitted. It’s a family there. That is the kind of place I really want to be at.”

Rivals ranks Quinn No. 102 overall and No. 10 among all edge rushers.
