One of Clemson’s top remaining wide receiver targets has set a commitment date.
Five-star Cederian Morgan (Benjamin Russell, Alexander City, AL) will announce on July 2 and will choose between Clemson, Alabama, Auburn, Colorado, Georgia and Florida.
The 6-foot-4, 210-pound prospect is one of the top receivers in the class. Morgan worked out at Dabo Swinney’s high school camp last summer and was last on campus for the Elite Retreat in March. He is one of two receivers scheduled to be on hand for the big official visit weekend May 30 to June 2, joining four-star Craig Dandridge.
The two in-state schools, Alabama and Auburn, have been viewed as the favorites, but the Tigers will get another shot at reeling him in.
Clemson already has three receivers committed in the 2026 class, with four-stars Naeem Burroughs and Connor Salmin jumping on board during the Elite Retreat and four-star Gordon Sellars committing last month.
As a junior last season, Morgan caught 70 passes for 1,162 yards with 14 touchdowns. As a sophomore, he averaged 19.4 yards per reception.
The 247 Composite ranks the blue-chip talent No. 14 overall, No. 3 among all receivers and No. 1 in the state of Alabama.
