Clemson O-Line Tabbed One of College Football’s Best

Clemson boasts one of the country’s best offensive fronts entering the 2025 campaign, according to this national outlet.

Pro Football Focus (PFF) ranked the top 10 offensive lines in college football ahead of the upcoming season, and Clemson made the list, coming in at No. 10.

As far as O-lines in the ACC, the Tigers are ranked behind only Miami (No. 8).

There should only be more improvement for Clemson on the offensive line in 2025, considering all the experience offensive line coach Matt Luke has coming back. The Tigers return four starters, only needing to replace Marcus Tate, who served as the left guard last season.

Blake Miller and Tristan Leigh return at the two tackle spots. Walker Parks, who can play both guard and tackle, will play a sixth and final season, while Ryan Linthicum returns at center. As far as replacing Tate, the Tigers have options, most notably Harris Sewell, who has played more than 1,000 snaps across his first two seasons and only gets better the more he plays.

Here’s what PFF’s Max Chadwick had to say about Clemson’s O-line heading into the 2025 season:

The Tigers brought back five of their six offensive linemen who played 500 snaps for them last year. Blake Miller is my No. 7 returning tackle in college football and is entering his fourth season as Clemson’s starting right tackle. His 77.3 career run-blocking grade is a top-30 mark of any tackle in America over the last three seasons, and he’s coming off a career-best 76.4 pass-blocking grade in 2024 as well. On the opposite side is Tristan Leigh, who’s entering his third year as the starting left tackle for the Tigers.

Ryan Linthicum and Walker Parks are returning starters at center and right guard. Harris Sewell will take over at left guard but has still played 982 snaps across his first two seasons.

Alabama claimed the top spot in PFF’s O-line rankings, with Utah, Texas A&M, Florida and Oregon rounding out the top five.
