CLEMSON — Dabo Swinney’s high school camp rages on, with another session taking place on Saturday.
The Clemson Insider was on hand for all of the action of the afternoon session, taking note of several players that really stood out.
– Quarterback play once again highlighted the afternoon, with 2027 four-star Trent Seaborn (Thompson, Alabaster, AL) working out during the afternoon session. Just like this morning, Seaborn was extremely sharp, particularly with his accuracy.
– 2027 Four-star QB Keegan Croucher (Cheshire, CT) also worked during both sessions. He is 6-foot-4 and smooth as silk. Probably threw the best deep balls of all the quarterbacks on hand today. Croucher ranks in the Top 120 overall at 247, and it is easy to see why. Michigan, Nebraska and Oregon are just a few of the schools to have already offered.
– 2027 QB Luke Gaither (LCA, Lynchburg, VA) also threw again in the afternoon session. He secured an offer from ETSU after the morning session. Can make all the throws. He works out with QB guru Baylin Trujillo and it would not be surprising at all to see his stock take off during his junior season.
– 2027 four-star WR Jamarin Simmons (Amos P. Golby, Tallahassee, FL) was the best wideout we saw during the afternoon. He and his mother made the trip up to campus this morning just to work out this afternoon. He is about 6 feet tall and explosive. It is plainly obvious he spends a lot of time on his route running. And he goes all out on every rep. On at least one occasion, he was seen laying out for a pass. Florida State, Miami, Louisville, Colorado and Ole Miss are just a few of his offers. He is also tight with current CB Ashton Hampton, who was on hand with Simmons’ mother and another family member watching the workout. 247 ranks him inside the Top 120 overall.
– 2027 in-state ATH Tajeh Watson-Martin (BHP) looked really sharp working at wideout. He plays at both corner and receiver for his high school team. Penn State just offered, to go along with offers from Duke, Wake Forest, App State and Coastal. Prep Red Zone ranks him as one of the top DBs in the state.
– 2028 WR Kenneth Wilson (Indian Land) had a good day. He was moved to the A-group after the morning session and worked out with the older players in the afternoon.
