Former Clemson Tiger Announces Transfer Destination

After spending his freshman season at Clemson, TP Wentworth is officially moving on.

The two-way player, who entered the transfer portal last week, announced a commitment to Oklahoma State on Wednesday.

After beginning the season as a reserve, Wentworth earned the starting job in right field, starting 10 games down the stretch, including every postseason game. He hit .220 with three doubles and seven RBI.

He was also used as a middle reliever at points during his debut season, making 11 appearances. He registered an ERA of 8.00 with eight strikeouts in nine innings pitched.

Coming out of high school, Wentworth was rated No. 151 overall and as the 27th-best outfielder by Perfect Game.

Wentworth will have three seasons of eligibility left.
