It’s decision day for a priority Clemson target.
Four-star DT Keyshawn Stancil is set to announce a commitment on Saturday at 6 p.m. during a ceremony at Clayton High School. The finalists are Clemson, NC State, Penn State, Miami and Georgia.
While the Tigers just officially offered Stancil about a month ago, the staff has been recruiting him much longer. He was on campus for the Elite Retreat in March, then gave Clemson one of his official visits. He did not attend the big official visit weekend, but took one two weekends ago. He was the only recruit on campus that weekend. Each of his other finalists also received officials, with NC State getting the final one last weekend.
If indeed Clemson is the choice, Stancil would become the second defensive tackle to commit in the 2026 class. Three-star Kam Cody committed to the Tigers back in March. His addition would bolster a class that is already ranked No. 7 nationally by Rivals.
Rivals also ranks Stancil No. 200 overall and No. 13 among all defensive tackles.
