Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney provided multiple injury updates when he met with the media on Wednesday evening.
In addition to revealing that redshirt sophomore running back Jarvis Green will likely be out for most of the 2025 season, Swinney said junior safety Khalil Barnes is dealing with a “short-term” injury.
Barnes was wearing a yellow (no contact) jersey during Wednesday’s practice at Jervey Meadows.
So was senior cornerback Jeadyn Lukus. Swinney said they hope to get Lukus back at practice next week.
“We need to get [Lukus] back,” Swinney said. “He’s been down a few days. But hopefully we’ll get him back, hopefully the first of next week he’ll be back rolling.”
Swinney also said that redshirt freshman offensive lineman Watson Young is back. Young was limited to begin preseason camp.
