Priority Target Sets Return Visit

A priority target is set to visit Clemson later this month.

2027 safety Harrison Luke (North Oconee, Bogart, GA) tells The Clemson Insider he plans to visit for the Tigers’ season opener against LSU on August 30.

Luke is the son of offensive line coach Matt Luke. He picked up his offer in early June when the first ones started going out to players in his class. He then visited during a session of Dabo Swinney’s high school camp, but did not work out.

“I would like to show that I earned this and it’s not because of just my dad,” Luke told TCI recently. “That’s the biggest thing. I want to show people that I can really play, and that I’m one of the best safeties in the class of 2027.”

The offer from Clemson was Luke’s first Power-4 offer, which in turn opened the floodgates. Georgia, Ole Miss, Auburn and Tennessee are just some of the offers he has picked up since.

Luke helped guide his high school team to an unbeaten record and a 4A state title in the state of Georgia last season.
