Add another name to the ever-growing list of recruits set to be on hand for Clemson’s big season opener.
Three-star OL Jacob Burns (Rabun Gap, GA) tells The Clemson Insider he plans to visit when the Tigers kick off the season against LSU on August 30.
The 6-foot-7, 300-pound recruit visited Clemson for the Underclass Experience back in March, then returned in June for Dabo Swinney’s high school camp.
Burns has more than 25 offers, with Alabama and Wake Forest being the two most recent. Ohio State, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Georgia Tech are just a few of the other schools to have already offered.
Burns is one of four players from Rabun Gap to confirm intentions to be on hand for the Top 10 matchup. He joins teammates QB Grayson Clary, OL Elijah Hutcheson and LB Jay Schell. Clary and Schell are 2028 prospects, while Burns and Hutcheson are both members of the 2027 class.
