We can now scratch one name from the visitor’s list for Clemson’s big season-opener against LSU.
The Clemson Insider has learned that three- star RB J’Alan Terry (Coosa Christian, AL) no longer plans to visit for the Top 10 matchup on August 30.
With the Tigers having yet to land a running back in the 2026 recruiting class, Terry has been considered a candidate to possibly become a potential target.
βIt would mean a lot,β Terry said in a recent interview about a potential offer. βI want to win a national championship when I get to college, and I feel like they are a national championship team right now.β
The 6-foot, 185-pound back has visited multiple times in the past, with the last one coming when he worked out at Dabo Swinney’s high school camp in June. He also visited in the spring and for two different games last season.
Terry holds more than a dozen offers, including Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Kentucky and Vanderbilt.
