Watch: Lawrence Mic’d up in Week 1 Win vs. Panthers

Former Clemson star Trevor Lawrence was wired for sound in Week 1 of the NFL season.

Lawrence wore the mic in the Jacksonville Jaguars’ 2025 season opener against the Carolina Panthers last Sunday.

Lawrence completed 19 of 31 passes for 178 yards with a touchdown pass and one interception, helping the Jaguars to a 26-10 win over the Panthers at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville. Lawrence hit tight end Hunter Long for a 6-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter.

After being drafted out of Clemson with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, Lawrence entered this season having completed 63.3 percent of his passes for 13,815 yards and 69 touchdowns with 46 interceptions over 60 games from 2021-24. The Jaguars signed Lawrence to a massive five-year, $275 million contract extension (including $142 million fully guaranteed) prior to the 2024 season.
