College Gameday Analysts Give Their Picks for Clemson-GT

The College GameDay selections are in for Week 3 of the college football campaign.

ESPN’s College GameDay crew has made their picks for today’s matchup between No. 12 Clemson (1-1) and Georgia Tech (2-0) at the Yellow Jackets’ Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta.

Clemson comes in as a 3.5-point favorite on the spread for the game (12 p.m., ESPN).

The Tigers have won nine games in a row against the Yellow Jackets.

You can see the picks from the College GameDay analysts below:

Desmond Howard: Clemson

“Very close game, but I have Clemson by a field goal.”

Nick Saban: Clemson

“I like Clemson, too. I think that Georgia Tech is going to have a difficult time with Clemson’s front. Clemson’s got three guys playing on their front that will all be high draft picks. So, I think they’re gonna have a tough time, their O-line vs. Clemson’s D-line.”

Pat McAfee: Georgia Tech

“I was selecting Clemson because of their NFL-style D-line and Georgia Tech likes to run the ball, and then Haynes King did that interview with us, where he was just spinning it while talking to us here in beautiful Knoxville. That kid’s got moxie, he’s got grit. I like Georgia Tech to win today against Clemson and break a streak.”

Kirk Herbstreit: Clemson

“[The spread for the game] is almost begging you to take Georgia Tech because of that. Clemson’s D-line that Coach [Saban] referred to — difference in the game.”
