Clemson Makes Initial Cut for 5-Star Target

One of Clemson’s top uncommitted targets in the 2027 class has released his list of top schools.

Five-star LB Kaden Henderson (Jesuit, FL) named his Top 12 on Thursday, with Clemson, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Miami, Alabama, Texas A&M, Florida State, Florida, LSU, Oregon, Tennessee and Southern Cal all making the initial cut.

The 6-foot-2, 215-pound prospect picked up one of the Tigers’ opening offers back in June and was last on campus for the big season-opener against LSU. Henderson hails from the same high school as both Wade and Drew Woodaz, both current linebackers at Clemson. Freshman OL Gavin Blanchard also played at the same school before transferring out for his senior season.

Henderson has more than 40 offers in total, with the 247 Composite ranking him No. 33 overall, No. 2 among all linebackers in the class and No. 4 in the state of Florida.

The Tigers already have one commitment from a linebacker in the 2027 class, with four-star Max Brown announcing a verbal pledge the first week of June.
