Friday Night Injury Report for Clemson Ahead of Syracuse Game

CLEMSON – Clemson and the ACC released the Friday injury report ahead of the Tigers’ home matchup against Syracuse (noon, ESPN) on Saturday.

Clemson’s report is identiacl to the one put out on Thursday.

Wide receiver Antonio Williams (hamstring), safety Khalil Barnes (hamstring), offensive guard Elyjah Thurmon (concussion) and left tackle Tristan Leigh (ankle) are listed as probable for the Syracuse game. Earlier on Friday, both Williams and Leigh were announced as captains for tomorrow’s game.

Williams, Clemson’s top receiver last year, was injured on the fifth play of the game against LSU and has not returned since. Barnes and Leigh were both injured against LSU as well, and have missed the last two games, while Thurmon was injured in practice prior to last week’s loss to Georgia Tech and missed the game.

Listed as out for the Tigers and new to the list is cornerback Misun Kelley. He started and played 25 snaps against Georgia Tech. He also started the LSU game and had a career-high 39 snaps, as well 15 snaps against Troy.
