With Clemson returning home on Saturday to host Syracuse, the Tigers will have a number of recruits in attendance.
Five-star LB target Cooper Witten (Liberty Christian, TX) highlights the guest list this week. Witten visited back in the spring, then returned for Dabo Swinney’s high school camp in June, when he would pick up one of the Tigers’ opening offers.
The 6-foot-2, 210-pound prospect is the son of former NFL standout Jason Witten. The 247 Composite ranks Witten No. 12 overall and No. 1 among all linebackers in the 2027 class. Last weekend, Witten was in Tennessee for the Vols’ loss to Georgia, and he has also visited Oklahoma for its win over Michigan.
2027 four-star OL target Peyton Miller (Anna, TX) also returns to campus on Saturday. The 6-foot-5, 290-pounder also picked up his offer after attending camp.
“It was great,” Miller told TCI after the visit. “Everybody talks about how great the culture is, and how great everything is at Clemson. I had to come see it for myself, and it did not disappoint. I mean, it lived up to everything and more. It really surprised me how great it was and how things run there. It was definitely a great visit.”
2027 TE Joey Hunter (Grayson, GA) will also visit.
2027 four-star QB commit Kharim Hughley also returns to campus on Saturday.
A handful of notable prospects from the 2028 class will also be on hand.
- Three-star RB Jerome Larue (Bishop McDevitt, PA)
- In-state RB Michael Martin (Christ Church)
- In-State WR Jordan Gorham (Timberland)
- In-state OL Brody Lorenzo (Dutch Fork)
