Update on Clemson-Syracuse Lightning Delay

CLEMSON — As many of you know, the Clemson-Syracuse game has been delayed due to lightning in the area. The game was delayed at 2:10 p.m.

Clemson has officially said the game will restart at 3:45 p.m. The game has also been moved to ESPN2 for those watching it on television.

The Tigers trailed the Orange 24-14 at the break.

Syracuse’s Steve Angeli led Syracuse to the halftime lead by completing 16 of 24 passes for 180 yards. The Orange also ran for 123 yards and had 303 total yards in the first half.

Clemson was led by quarterback Cade Klubnik, who has two touchdown passes, one to Bryant Wesco from 38 yards out and 6 yards to Adam Randall. The Clemson running back ran for 85 yards on eight carries and averaged 10.6 yards per carry.
