One of Clemson’s top safety targets released a list of his top schools on Monday.

Four-star S Davion Jones (W. Charlotte, NC) released his eight finalists, which include Clemson, LSU, Georgia, Florida State, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.

The 6-foot, 175-pound DB has more than two dozen offers in total and last at Clemson for the Tigers’ season opener against LSU. He picked up his offer back in the summer after an impressive workout at camp.

“It shows that all the work I put in it didn’t go to waste or nothing,” Jones told TCI in a previous interview. “I’m kind of patting myself on the back about that one.”

Jones ranks No. 118 overall in the 247 Composite Rankings and No. 11 among all safeties in the 2027 recruiting class.
