Tait Reynolds is set to return to Clemson this weekend.
The four-star QB commit tells The Clemson Insider that he will be on hand for the Tigers’ game against SMU on Saturday.
Being from Arizona (Queen Creek), it’s a little more difficult for Reynolds to get to campus compared to some of his fellow commits.
Reynolds has been committed to Clemson for well over a year after announcing a verbal pledge in July of 2024, about a month after picking up one of the Tigers’ opening 2026 offers.
Last season as a junior, Reynolds completed 62% of his passes for 2,238 yards with 22 touchdowns to just five interceptions. He added another 1,426 yards via his legs with 19 touchdown runs. He averaged more than 100 rushing yards per game.
This season, Reynolds has been limited to just one game due to an injury but he tells TCI he should be back “very soon.”
ESPN ranks Reynolds as the 10th-best quarterback in the class and the second-best player in the state of Arizona.
Three-star QB commit Brock Bradley is set to be back on campus, and 2027 four-star QB commit Kharim Hughley has been at every home game and will likely be in town as well.
Four-star S commit Kaden Gebhardt and four-star 2027 LB commit Max Brown will also be on hand.
Here are some of the other uncommitted players expected to be on hand.

- 2028 DL Prince Che
