Clemson added to its lead against FCS opponent Furman with a quick five-play, 80-yard touchdown drive in the first quarter.

Redshirt sophomore wide receiver Tyler Brown capped off the drive with a 21-yard touchdown on a wide receiver reverse run, extending the Tigers’ lead to 17-0 with 4:43 to play in the opening frame.

It marked the first touchdown of the season for Brown and the fifth of his career (and the first since his true freshman season in 2023).

It also marked his first career rushing touchdown.
