With the regular season coming to a close this weekend, several players on the Clemson football team will be faced with decisions regarding their futures with the program.
One of those is junior defensive end T.J. Parker, who has routinely been predicted to be a first-round pick in next spring’s NFL Draft.
Parker was asked on Tuesday if that decision had already been made.
“No. I will decide later on and try to figure it out,” he said.
After posting 5.5 sacks as a freshman and 11 a season ago, Parker has just two in 2025. His 6.5 tackles for loss are tied for fourth-most on the team.
However, the drop in production hasn’t really impacted his status in some of the most recent mock drafts. As recently as last week, Parker was projected to go No. 18 overall to the Detroit Lions.
Parker heads into this weekend’s rivalry matchup with 18.5 career sacks to go along with 38.5 tackles for loss, and right now, the Gamecocks are the only thing on his mind.
“Right now I am just trying to focus on beating USC,” Parker added. “I got some time after that to think about it.”
