Penn State will be missing a third defensive end for the Pinstripe Bowl matchup against Clemson.
Freshman Daniel Jennings is no longer with the Nittany Lions, per a report from 247 Sports. He is expected to enter the transfer portal when it opens on January 2.
Jennings redshirted this season and did not appear in any games. He joins Chaz Coleman and Zuirah Fisher as edge rushers the Nittany Lions will be without against the Tigers.
Jennings was a four-star talent coming out of high school. He reclassified from the 2026 recruiting class and signed with Penn State as a part of the 2025 class.
During his final high school season, Jennings tallied 12.5 tackles for loss and 10 sacks. He added 1,373 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns as a running back.
