A former Clemson standout has reportedly received a two-way deal.
PJ Hall is signing a two-way contract with the Charlotte Hornets, according to ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk.
A second-year pro, Hall was previously with the Memphis Grizzlies on a two-way contract earlier this season prior to being waived on Nov. 16.
Hall has mostly played in the G League this season. The 6-foot-8 center is averaging 14.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.4 blocks in 27.5 minutes per game across 12 games with the Memphis Hustle and Greensboro Swarm.
Hall has appeared in 26 NBA games over two seasons, including 19 with the Denver Nuggets in 2024-25 and seven with the Grizzlies this season. Overall, he has averaged 1.8 points, 1.2 rebounds, 0.2 assists and 0.2 blocks in 3.6 minutes per game in his NBA action.
Hall was not drafted in 2024 but instead signed a two-way contract with Denver. He was released by the Nuggets this past summer.
Hall became just the 14th player in Clemson men’s basketball history to earn first-team All-ACC honors in 2023-24. He averaged 18.3 points and 6.4 rebounds per game that season, on his way to Associated Press All-American Honorable Mention honors. His 659 points set the school record for points in a season. Hall finished his career in the top 10 of Clemson’s all-time scoring list (1,702 points).
