While the number of Clemson players who will miss the Pinstripe Bowl has been well-documented, the attrition rate for Penn State has been somewhat unclear.
On Friday, interim head coach Terry Smith provided a list of players who will not be available, and Penn State has been hit hard along the offensive line.

- OL Drew Shelton (started all 12 games)
- OL Nick Dawkins (started all 12 games)
- DE Chaz Coleman (reserve, appeared in 9 games)
- DT Zane Durant (started all 12 games)
- DE Zuriah Fisher (started 11 games)
- CB A.J. Harris (started 11 games)
- LB Kari Jackson (appeared in 1 game)
- DE Daniel Jennings (did not play in 2025)
- RB Nick Singleton (appeared in all 12 games, all-time all-purpose yards)
- LB Alex Tatsch (appeared in 6 games)
- CB Elliott Washington II (reserve, appeared in all 12 games)
- S Zakee Wheatley (two-year starter)
- TE Khalil Dinkins (started 9 games)
Smith said starting RB Kaytron Allen would suit up and be available, although some reports suggest he will be on a limited snap count.
Starting DE Dani Sutton is another player Smith said would be dressing out and available.
