Veteran Lineman Says Farewell to Clemson

One offensive lineman is saying goodbye to Clemson.

After finishing his career in the Pinstripe Bowl last Saturday, veteran Tristan Leigh posted a farewell message to Tiger Nation on Wednesday.

“First, I want to thank God for all the blessings that I have been able to experience in my life,” Leigh posted on social media. “To my mom, dad, Kaitlin and Aidan, you are my everything. To my family and friends, you all are my rock. Thank you for always believing in me and supporting my dreams. I love you more than anything.”

“I want to thank Coach Swinney, Coach Luke, and Coach Riely for always believing in me and giving me guidance and wisdom. Thank you Coach Batson, Coach Hogan, and D-Love for pouring time into me and pushing me to be the best version of myself. Thanks to all the coaches throughout the years that have shaped me into the athlete I am today. To my teammates, going to war and living life with you has been an honor. We created so many memories and moments that I’ll cherish forever.”

“To the Clemson Family, wearing that paw these last 5 years has meant everything to me. Thank you for showing love and always showing up. I love y’all and I’m a Tiger for life. With that being said, I am excited to announce I will be entering the 2026 NFL Draft.”

After signing with Clemson as a five-star recruit in the 2021 recruiting class, Leigh took over a starting role in the 2023 season. He has started 33 games over the past three seasons, with most of those coming at left tackle.

Prior to the 2025 season, Leigh was voted by his teammates as a permanent team captain. He will now pursue his dream of playing in the NFL.
