Clemson DB Set to Enter Transfer Portal

Clemson is losing another defensive back to the transfer portal.

Safety Rob Billings has revealed plans to enter the portal when it opens on Friday.

The redshirt sophomore has appeared in 32 games over his first three seasons with the Tigers, recording seven tackles.

The product of Milton High School (GA) signed as a four-star talent as a member of the 2023 recruiting class.

Billings joins safeties Khalil Barnes and Shelton Lewis as defensive backs who have announced plans to enter the portal. Lewis left the team midseason, announcing his plans at the time.

Billings is now the sixth player overall that the Tigers have lost to the portal.
