Number of Clemson Portal Departures Continues to Rise

With the transfer portal officially opening as of midnight, let’s take a look at what players the Clemson Tigers are already losing.

As of 8:20 a.m. on Friday, there are 11 names currently in the portal. Last year, Clemson lost a dozen players to the portal. The program is already quickly approaching that number.

  • DT Stephiylan Green
  • DT Caden Story
  • TE Josh Sapp
  • S Khalil Barnes
  • S Robert Billings
  • LB Dee Crayton
  • LB Jamal Anderson
  • RB Keith Adams Jr.
  • CB Michael Mankaka (former walk-on)
  • QB Cade Trotter (walk-on)
  • DB Shelton Lewis (left midseason)

To this point, Green is by far the biggest hit the Tigers have taken. The redshirt sophomore was expected to be a key piece along the Tigers’ defensive front next season.

The portal window will remain open through January 16, and this year, there is only one window. There will be no spring window in 2026.
