New Update On 5-Star LB Target

Five-star LB Kaden Henderson has long been one of Clemson’s top targets in the 2027 recruiting class.

The blue-chip talent, out of Jesuit (FL), picked up one of the Tigers’ opening offers last summer and has been on campus multiple times now. The last visit was for the season opener against LSU.

Henderson has already told The Clemson Insider he plans to return to Clemson for the Elite Retreat on March 7. At the same time, in a recent interview with Rivals, he mentioned a handful of schools that were emerging, and the Tigers were not one.

Alabama, Florida State, Texas A&M, Miami, Ohio State and Tennessee were the schools referenced. Henderson said he plans to visit the Aggies for their Junior Day in January.

Other schools in Henderson’s Top 12 include Notre Dame, Southern Cal, Oregon, Florida and LSU, along with Clemson.

Coming off a 7-6 season and in the process of overhauling their defense, it appears the Tigers have a lot of ground to make up here.
