A departing Clemson offensive lineman will have the chance to showcase his talent in an upcoming college football all-star game.
Ryan Linthicum has accepted his invite to the 2026 Hula Bowl, which will feature 120 of the top senior athletes in the country.
The 2026 Hula Bowl will be held on Jan. 10 at Spec Martin Memorial Stadium in DeLand, Fla. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.
A two-year starter at center, Linthicum recently announced his plans to enter the 2026 NFL Draft after exhausting his eligibility in 2025, and bid farewell to the program where he spent the past five years.
“Clemson gave me more than opportunity — it gave me a standard,” Linthicum wrote in a social media post on Dec. 28. “I’m thankful for the coaches who believed in me, demanded excellence, and taught me how to prepare, compete and lead every day. The growth I experienced here on and off the field is something I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
“Clemson will always be home. I will forever cherish and relationships built here.”
Linthicum signed with the Tigers as a four-star prospect in the 2021 recruiting class. Rivals ranked him No. 120 overall and as the nation’s top center.
After redshirting during his debut season, then sparingly playing over the next two seasons, Linthicum took over as the starting center ahead of the 2024 season and has started every game since.
The 6-foot-3, 305-pounder played in 36 games during his career as a Tiger from 2021-25, making 27 starts.
