Clemson In Contact With Another Big 10 Portal Defender

A former Michigan State defensive back has been in contact with Clemson.

Justin Denson Jr. listed the Tigers among a number of schools that have contacted him since the transfer portal opened on Friday.

Denson was an All-American prospect out of high school in the 2024 class, picking the Spartans over offers from Alabama, Oklahoma, Florida and other marquee programs. However, he has spent most of his first two seasons at Michigan State playing in a reserve role.

He appeared in 11 games across his two years with Michigan State, recording 15 tackles. This past season, he only saw action in three games for the Spartans. All three came in September as he wanted to preserve his redshirt.
