Clemson Portal Target Set to Visit SEC School

One of Clemson’s portal targets is set to check out an SEC school before giving the Tigers a visit.

The Clemson Insider has confirmed that transfer safety Lyrik Rawls is expected to visit Tennessee on Tuesday. Rawls told TCI he is fresh off a visit to Arizona State.

Rawls started all 12 games at safety for the Jayhawks as a redshirt senior in 2025 and ranked second on the team in total tackles with 73. The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder recorded 57 solo tackles and 16 assists on the season, along with 1.0 tackles for loss, one interception and seven pass breakups.

Rawls spent the first four years of his college career at Oklahoma State from 2021-24. He redshirted in 2021, and after playing in 12 games in 2022, he earned the first three starts of his career in 2023 before missing the rest of the season due to injury. In 2024, he played in all 12 games for the Cowboys, collecting 23 tackles and an interception.

Rawls played his high school ball in Texas. He was a three-star prospect according to ESPN, Rivals and 247Sports, and chose Oklahoma State over TCU, Texas Tech, Kansas, Houston and others
