A reserve Clemson defensive lineman, who entered the NCAA transfer portal after it opened, has now taken his name out of the portal.
Caden Story has withdrawn his name from the transfer portal, The Clemson Insider confirmed Saturday.
The redshirt junior appeared in five games this season, tallying five tackles (0.5 for loss) and a half-sack in 71 defensive snaps.
His most extensive action came in the Pinstripe Bowl loss to Penn State, during which he logged four tackles with the half-sack.
Over his four-year career from 2022-25, Story has appeared in 24 games and has been credited with nine tackles (0.5 for loss) and a half-sack in 190 defensive snaps.
Story was a four-star prospect coming out of high school and signed as part of the 2022 recruiting class. He redshirted his first year at Clemson in 2022.
The 6-foot-3, 275-pounder was ranked as the No. 21 defensive lineman and No. 148 overall prospect in the country for his class by 247Sports.
