Clemson has pulled the trigger on another transfer portal offer.
Howard defensive end CJ Wesley announced the offer from the Tigers via social media on Saturday.
As a redshirt junior in 2025, Wesley recorded 33 total tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, five sacks, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
Wesley spent four years at Howard from 2022-25. He redshirted in 2024 and did not play.
Over 26 games in his career there, the 6-foot-2, 240-pounder was credited with 47 total tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and seven sacks.
Clemson has landed eight portal players to this point, with all of them coming on the defensive side of the ball, including one defensive end – London Merritt from Colorado.
