The United Football League (UFL) conducted its 2026 UFL Draft on Jan. 13 and Jan. 14, with Day 2 centering on the selection of free agents.
Five former Clemson players were selected across the two-day, position-by-position draft, which was held inside the league’s headquarters in Arlington, Texas.
Former Clemson wide receiver Amari Rodgers was taken by the Columbus Aviators on Day 1. However, he is reportedly retiring from the UFL.
Four more former Tigers – offensive tackle Jackson Carman, wide receiver Justyn Ross, offensive tackle Tremayne Anchrum and cornerback Andrew Booth – were all drafted on Day 2.
Carman and Ross were both selected by the Birmingham Stallions, while Anchrum was picked by the Dallas Renegades, and Booth went to the Louisville Kings.
The UFL’s third season will kick off on March 27.
Rodgers concluded his Clemson career with 181 career receptions for 2,144 yards and 15 receiving touchdowns over 55 career games (37 starts) from 2017-20, while Ross finished his Clemson career spanning 2018-21 having recorded 158 catches for 2,379 yards and 20 touchdowns over 39 games (24 starts).
Booth departed for the 2022 NFL Draft following his junior season with the Tigers after recording 75 tackles (5.5 for loss), 10 pass breakups, five interceptions, a sack and a fumble recovery, which he returned for a touchdown, over 35 career games (15 starts) from 2019-21.
Carman declared for the 2021 NFL Draft after playing 1,934 snaps over 40 career games (27 starts) from 2018-20 and starting each of the last 27 games of his career.
