CLEMSON — A former Clemson player is headed out west.
Tigers’ transfer Markus Dixon announced a commitment to Oregon on Saturday.
Dixon signed with Clemson as a tight end in the 2023 recruiting class. After logging just five snaps and redshirting during his debut season, he appeared in 10 games in 2024.
Dixon was then moved to defensive end ahead of the 2025 campaign, where he played 13 snaps last season. He will reportedly go back to playing tight end with the Ducks.
He will have two years of eligibility remaining.
