Former Clemson Player Signs with Group of 5 Program

A former Clemson player has found his new home.

Former Tiger and Kentucky wide receiver Troy Stellato has signed with UNLV, the program announced Monday.

Stellato spent four years at Clemson from 2021-24 before transferring to Kentucky ahead of the 2025 season. Stellato appeared in just four games with the Wildcats, recording one catch for 4 yards.

Over his injury-plagued career with the Tigers, Stellato had 65 catches for 600 yards and two touchdowns.

A former four-star prospect, Stellato played in just two games during his first season with the Tigers due to injuries and ultimately redshirted. An ACL injury forced him to miss his entire second season. In 2023, he caught 38 balls for 321 yards and a touchdown while appearing in 12 games. Then in 2024, he reeled in 25 catches for 264 yards and a touchdown over nine contests.

Clemson transfer linebacker Dee Crayton has also signed with UNLV, which went 10-4 in 2025, its first season under former Florida and Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen. The Rebels made the Mountain West Championship Game, falling to Boise State.
