A four-star defensive back from the Volunteer State has picked up an offer from Clemson.
Knoxville (Tenn.) Halls High School class of 2027 safety Jarrell Chandler announced the offer from the Tigers on Tuesday via social media.
“After a great visit from (Ben Boulware) & (Thomas Allen) I am blessed to receive an offer from (Clemson Football),” Chandler wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
Chandler is a four-star prospect, per Rivals and the 247Sports Composite. Rivals ranks him as the 22nd-best safety in the country and the No. 235 overall prospect nationally in his class.
Chandler visited Clemson for the Tigers’ 2025 season opener against LSU back on Aug. 30.
The 6-foot-3, 200-pounder lists around two dozen total offers. As a junior in 2025, Chandler impressed on both sides of the ball while recording 109 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 23 pass breakups and an interception along with four fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles. He also had 766 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
