Clemson has expanded the defensive line board.
Three-star DE Griff Galloway (Providence Day, NC) announced an offer from the Tigers on Wednesday, following a visit by defensive tackles coach Nick Eason. He has been a frequent visitor to Clemson, including multiple game-day stops last season.
Galloway is the son of Lonnie Galloway, who served as a volunteer assistant on the staff last season. He served as wide receivers coach at North Carolina on Mack Brown’s staff prior to that.
The 6-foot-4, 240-pound prospect now has more than a dozen offers, including Georgia, Michigan, Tennessee, South Carolina and Texas A&M.
As a junior, Galloway tallied 66 tackles with 13 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks and 17 quarterback hurries.
