Newly Offered DL Gets Second Visit from Clemson Coaches

One of Clemson’s newest offers got a second visit from members of the coaching staff on Thursday.

Dabo Swinney and defensive tackles coach Nick Eason stopped by Providence Day in Charlotte to visit with three-star DL Griff Galloway. It is the second time Eason has visited with the 6-foot-4, 240-pound prospect.

Galloway announced an offer from the Tigers after Eason’s first visit about 10 days ago. He now has more than a dozen offers, including Georgia, Michigan, Tennessee, South Carolina and Texas A&M.

As a junior, Galloway tallied 66 tackles with 13 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks and 17 quarterback hurries. He is the son of offensive assistant Lonnie Galloway.

The Tigers have yet to land a commitment from a defensive lineman in the 2027 class.
