We can now add another Clemson recruiting target to the guest list for the Elite Retreat.
Four-star TE Grant Haviland (Milton, GA) tells The Clemson Insider that he will attend the event scheduled for March 7. The 6-foot-5, 235-pounder is just one of two tight ends to hold an offer from the Tigers.
Haviland has visited Clemson twice in the past. The first one came for camp last summer, when he picked up his offer. The second came for the season-opener against LSU.
Tight ends coach Kyle Richardson visited with Haviland twice last month during the contact period, with head coach Dabo Swinney also making one of those trips.
Tennessee and Georgia both got visits last month, while Vanderbilt and Ohio State are scheduled for spring visits. Haviland recently said in an interview with Rivals that he could possibly have a decision made after his spring visits.
As a junior, Haviland had 24 catches for 343 yards with four touchdown grabs.
The 247 Composite ranks him No. 268 overall and No. 15 among all tight ends in the 2027 class.
