One Clemson target has trimmed his list of favorites.
Four-star Jayden Aparicio-Bailey (Prattville, AL) released his Top 10 on Tuesday, with Clemson, Georgia, Florida, Auburn, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Ohio State, Texas and Southern Cal all making the initial cut.
While both of the major recruiting services list the 6-foot-2 defensive back as a safety, the Tigers are recruiting the blue-chip talent as a corner. Aparicio-Bailey worked out at camp last summer, where he picked up his offer, then returned for the season-opener against LSU. He plans to be back on campus on March 7 for the Elite Retreat.
Rivals ranks Aparicio-Bailey No. 76 overall, No. 7 among all safeties and No. 2 in the state of Alabama.
Clemson already has one cornerback committed in the 2027 class, with in-state legacy recruit Christian Chancellor announcing a verbal pledge in July of last year.
