Clemson Adds Future Non-Conference Game

The Clemson football program has added a future non-conference home game, to its 2027 schedule.

The Tigers will host Georgia State at Memorial Stadium in Clemson on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2027, according to a Georgia State news release.

It will mark the second matchup in football between Clemson and Georgia State. The Tigers won the previous matchup against the Panthers, 28-0, in Clemson on Nov. 22, 2014.

The matchup against Georgia State rounds out Clemson’s 2027 non-conference slate that also includes home games against Notre Dame and Wofford, and a road game at South Carolina.

Georgia State went 1-11 in 2025, with its lone win coming at home against Murray State by a score of 37-21 on Sept. 13.

The ACC recently finalized which teams will play just eight conference games from 2027 to 2032, according to a report from On3’s Brett McMurphy. Per the report, Clemson will only have to play eight league games through the 2028 season and won’t have to go to nine ACC games like other teams in the league.
